Steritainer Plus are made mainly from polyethylene (PE) using the blow-molding method, and are3D single-use sterile bags perfect for storing and transporting medical supplies, etc. They are sterilized with gamma rays and delivered in a sterile state, so they are ready-to-use out of the box.
They can be used for a wide range of items that require sterile environments within containers, such as biopharmaceuticals, regenerative drugs, cosmetics and functional food products.

  • Sterilized with Gamma Rays

  • Supplied after being sterilized with gamma rays, so they are ready-to-use out of the box. They are single-use bags that are perfectly suited to a wide range of applications of biopharmaceuticals, including the formulation, storage and transportation of sterile solutions, etc.

  • Sterility Assurance Level (SAL): ≦10-6

  • Conforms to the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP) and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP Class VI)

  • Do not require validation by the customer, and can be used immediately.

  • Gamma ray sterilization leaves no residual toxins in comparison with gas sterilization, so the bags are supplied in a sterile and safe condition.

  • Traceability has been established for all Steritainer components, so they provide extremely reliable levels of quality.

  • The materials used contain components that greatly cut down on physical deterioration, discoloring, odors and other effects caused by gamma ray irradiation.

3D Sterile Bag

  • Space-Saving
    The first time a 3D single-use bag that is less than 20-liters in capacity has been manufactured. This enables them to be placed in sterile chambers and other locations with restricted space. The Steritainer Plus bags are compactly packaged in individual wrapping, so they require very little space during storage.

  • Conforms to Japanese Pharmacopoeia plastic containers tests for infusion solutions and the Food Sanitation Law (Notification No.201 issued by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in FY2006).

  • Folds compactly and is therefore not bulky before filling or after use.

  • Supports freeze storage down to -80 degrees Celsius, and freeze transportation* down to -40 degrees Celsius. * Supports the 5-liter bags. (Using the special outer case makes transportation and storage, etc., even smoother.)

  • High-Strength Design

    The main part of the bag has been designed to self-supporting high-strength specifications so that stirring can be carried out easily without transferring the contents to glass containers. The three-dimensional design provides excellent dissolution efficiency when mixing solutions, which also enables powder medium to be formulated within short periods of time.

  • Easy to Use
    The surface of the container has been treated with special embossed coating to prevent fold wrinkles and scratches, and to reduce friction damage during transportation. A transparent window has been included at an easily-visible location to enable discoloration of the solution to be checked.
