QUALITY & CHOICE
Single Use Solution
Single Use Bioprocess Bags
Avantor Single-use bioprocessing bags are designed to transfer and store your products throughout the drug manufacturing process. Made from proprietary FlexFilm™ material - a thick, co-extruded film featuring polyethylene inner and outer layers that provide extra resistance to a wide range of chemicals - Avantor single-use bags are supplied in a range of standard sizes to meet the needs of many bioprocessing applications.
Bag film made from proprietary ULDPE with high clarity and flexibility
Standard 2D bag assemblies provided at volumes ranging from 50 ml to 50 L
Standard 3D bag chambers of 100, 200, and 500 L for faster custom assembly deliveries
Custom 3D bag chamber volumes up to 3000 L for large volume processes
Bag assemblies provided irradiated with SAL 10⁻⁶ and USP Class VI certification
Avantor's standard 2D bag assemblies are available with C-Flex tubing with plugged ends for welding and silicone tubing with either luer or MPC connectors for easy operator connections. The custom bag assemblies, both 2D and 3D, allow for user-specified tubing materials and connection types including a range of sterile connectors from all major manufacturers.
2D bag assemblies are designed for hanging which allows ease of use and complete fluid recovery. Standard 3D bag chambers available in 100, 200, and 500 L are top-ported for easy use in a variety of totes and container configurations.
Single Use Bottle Assemblies
Bottle assemblies are assembled in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom and are gamma irradiated up to 40 kGy. Each assembly is individually double bagged with a cleanroom label and gamma dot. This gamma-irradiated sampling bottle assemblies protects your sensitive processes and products from accidental contamination while saving time! Gamma-irradiated assemblies help you avoid costly delays that can be associated with outsourced gamma irradiation services. Assemblies are gamma-irradiated to offer optimal microbial control in a critical fluid pathway.
Safely transfer, sample, and store biopharmaceutical products and reagents
Secure, single-piece cap/tubing assembly eliminates contamination and product loss due to loose connections
Assemblies are gamma irradiated—eliminates labor and validation costs associated with assembly and cleaning
Cap assembly includes a seamless liner with premolded TPE fill and vent tubes to create an unobstructed fluid path. The 24” (61 cm) fill tube is plugged at the terminal end to maintain assembly microbial control until use. Vent tube includes a 25-mm diameter, 0.2-micron PVDF disc filter to prevent contamination. The vent filter is hydrophobic to offer protection loss of product during filling or emptying. The one-piece liner eliminates the risk of bacterial entrapment and contamination and forms an elastomeric seal between the cap and bottle rim.
Puri-Flex™ biopharma tubing meets USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, and ISO 10993 Part (S) 4/5 requirements. This sealable/weldable TPE tubing has excellent gas barrier properties, low permeability, and is resistant to acids and alkaline. The smooth inner surface reduces platelet adhesion and protein binding.
Capacities : 125, 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 mL
Sample Tubes® Assemblies
OmniTop Sample Tubes® are a convenient device that can be used to obtain fluid samples. Each OmniTop tube comes with a pre-attached 0,2 µm vent filter and 18" of tubing (C-Flex®, TYGON®, silicone or PharMed®).
Use OmniTop for the transfer of biopharmaceutical products and reagents in a closed system, gas exchange transfer, sampling of biopharmaceutical products and reagents in a closed system, storage of biopharmaceutical products and reagents. For use with bench top, pilot plant, and production bioreactors. Also for use with sterile connecting devices and thermal or RF tubing sealers.
